Where is your centre, and how far is it from Epping?
Future Leaders Academy is at 230 Saltlake Blvd, Wollert VIC 3750, which is 4km from Epping and about 20 min by car in the morning. We do not have a second site in Epping. Many of our families live in Epping and drive across, and we have parking on site so drop-off is quick.
Which parts of Epping do your families travel from?
Families come to us from Epping, Epping North, Lalor, Thomastown, Mill Park and Doreen. Most tell us the drive adds a few minutes to a trip they were already making, because Wollert sits just north of Epping on the way out of the growth corridor.
Do your opening hours suit shift workers and early starts?
We open at 6:30am and close at 6:30pm, Monday to Friday. That covers a seven o’clock start at Northern Hospital, an early train into the city, and a finish that runs late without a stressed drive at 5:55. Twelve hours is longer than most centres in the area offer.
Will my child still get into an Epping primary school?
Yes. Primary school enrolment in Victoria runs on your home address, not on where your child attended kindergarten. Doing the kinder year with us does not affect a school place in Epping. Our educators write a transition statement for every child and send it to whichever school they are starting at.
How does drop-off and parking work?
We have parking on site, so you are not circling for a space or double-parking on a busy street. Sign in through secure entry, walk your child to their room, and hand over to the educator who works in that room every day. Most mornings take a couple of minutes once your child has settled in.
Do you have places available for Epping families?

Can we book two or three days a week instead of full-time?
Yes. You book only the days you need, and a child attending two days gets the same room, the same educators and the same routine as a child attending five. Some days are more sought after than others, so tell us your preference early and we will work with it.
What should we compare when we look at childcare?
Compare the ratio in the room your child would actually be in, not the centre average. Ask what the fee includes and what gets billed on top, because nappies, meals, sunscreen and specialist programs are common extras. Ask whether educators stay in one room or rotate. Then visit during program hours and watch a room with children in it rather than an empty one.
