Yoga & Fitness for Children in Wollert and Epping
Physical activity is not something we add to the day at our early learning centre in Wollert and Epping. It is built into everything we do because healthy bodies and healthy minds develop together, and our qualified educators make sure every child moves, grows, and builds physical confidence every single day.
Yoga & Fitness
Kids need to move. They also need to learn how to calm down and feel comfortable in their own bodies.
We teach simple yoga poses adapted for little kids such as the tree pose, downward dog, and lots of movement to music. Children learn basic breathing exercises that help when they’re frustrated. We do balance games and gentle stretching.
Babies get tummy time and music sessions. Toddlers do animal poses and action songs. Pre-Kindergarten kids learn actual pose names and follow longer sequences.
Kindergarten children create their own movements and use breathing techniques when they need to settle.
The real benefit isn’t just flexibility. Kids who do yoga regularly concentrate better, handle frustration more easily, and develop body awareness that helps with everything from sports to handwriting.
We build movement into the whole day, morning stretches, breathing before rest time, dance parties when everyone has too much energy. Our educators know your child and can read when they need to move or calm down.
Sporty Program
Our sporty program at our early learning centre in Wollert and Epping builds gross motor skills, physical confidence, and social development through running, jumping, throwing, catching, and team games that children genuinely look forward to every session. Our highly qualified educators run every activity themselves, so they know exactly where each child is in their physical development and can guide learning and build confidence every step of the way.
- Babies reach for balls and crawl through tunnels.
- Toddlers kick soft balls and throw bean bags.
- Pre-Kindergarten kids tackle obstacle courses and simple team games.
- Kindergarten children learn coordinated catching and kicking with real rules.
Our educators run these activities, not visiting coaches who see your child for 30 minutes weekly. When your child catches a ball for the first time, it matters to us because we’ve been cheering them on the whole way.
Cooking Sessions
Our kitchen is where kids learn that healthy food can be interesting and that they’re capable of creating something real.
Children wash vegetables, mix ingredients, measure and count, and follow recipe steps. They try new foods they’ve helped prepare. They learn where food comes from without us lecturing about nutrition.
We cook fresh fruit salad, vegetable dips, simple wraps kids can assemble, smoothies, wholesome baked goods, and dishes from different cultures.
The recipes are genuinely nutritious, we’re not making cupcakes every week.
- Babies explore food textures and watch meal prep.
- Toddlers mix, tear herbs, and wash vegetables. Pre-
- Kindergarten kids use child-safe knives and measure ingredients.
Kids who help cook are more likely to try new foods. They practice math through measuring, build fine motor skills through cutting, and develop healthy relationships with food.
We plan around allergies carefully. You’ll always know what we’re cooking in advance, and we provide alternatives when needed. All programs are included in your regular fees.

Spaces Fill Quickly so secure Your Spot Today
Due to our commitment to small class sizes and quality over quantity, our rooms do fill up. If your preferred days or age group aren't currently available, we encourage you to join our waitlist.
How Our Waitlist Works:
- We maintain separate waitlists for each age group (Nursery, Toddlers, Pre-Kindergarten, Kindergarten)
- Families are contacted in order as positions become available
- Being on the waitlist creates no obligation, it simply ensures we can reach you when space.
- We update our waitlist regularly and communicate proactively with families
- Waitlist families receive priority notification before positions are publicly advertised
Age-Appropriate Environments
Each room is specifically resourced and arranged to match the developmental stage of the children within it. What works for toddlers doesn't work for kindergarteners, and vice versa. We design intentionally for each age.
Smooth Transitions
When it's time for your child to move to the next room, we handle transitions carefully. We consider each child's readiness, introduce them gradually to their new environment, and maintain relationships across rooms. Moving up is celebrated as an exciting milestone, never a stressful upheaval.
Familiar Faces, Growing Spaces
While rooms change as children grow, the familiar faces and family atmosphere of Future Leaders Academy remain constant. Our small size means children know educators across all rooms, creating a genuine community feel that larger centres cannot replicate.
